Terms & Conditions
Establishing the legal framework for excellence in modern logistics and global supply chain management.
Freight & Warehousing Agreement
Welcome to D & H SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our transportation, logistics, and warehousing services. By engaging our team for your supply chain needs, you're agreeing to these legal boundaries. We've designed these to be fair, transparent, and robust. Why settle for ambiguity in your logistics partners?
1. Carrier Liability & Limitations
We're committed to the delivery of your cargo in pristine condition. However, our liability is specific. In accordance with standard industry practices and international maritime or road haulage laws, the maximum liability of D & H SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT LLC for loss or damage is limited to specific SDR rates per kilogram. You'll find we strongly recommend additional insurance for high-value freight.
Did you know that standard carrier liability rarely covers the full commercial value of tech or luxury goods? It's a critical detail. We don't want you to be caught off guard if the unthinkable happens in transit.
2. Warehousing & Storage Provisions
Items stored within our Watertown facility or partner networks are held under strict environmental controls. Storage fees are calculated on a monthly cycle. We maintain a general lien on all goods for any unpaid charges. Basically, we handle your stock like it's our own, but clear payment terms keep the wheels turning.
3. Delay and Force Majeure
Logistics involves complex variables. While D & H SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT LLC strives for 99% on-time performance, we aren't liable for delays caused by weather, port congestion, or industrial action. If a global event disrupts the route, we'll coordinate the best alternative path. Logistics is shifting, and we adapt with it.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is generally due within 30 days of invoicing unless otherwise specified in your service contract. Late payments may accrue interest. We keep our rates competitive by ensuring our cash flow remains healthy. It's how we continue to invest in the latest tracking tech and fuel-efficient fleets.
Data Protection
Your shipping data is encrypted. We respect the privacy of your client lists and supply chain routes. We'll never sell your logistics intelligence to third parties.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Watertown or through professional arbitration as agreed upon by both parties.
